These terms govern your use of the FirstHelm platform.
1. Definitions
- FirstHelm — the AI orchestration and governance platform.
- the Platform — the FirstHelm software, website, and API.
- Agent — an autonomous AI worker registered to the Platform.
- Mission — a high-level goal assigned to one or more Agents.
- Operator — a user who connects and oversees Agents.
- Customer — the organisation that has subscribed to FirstHelm.
2. About these terms and ownership
The Platform is owned and operated by FirstHelm Technologies Ltd, the site owner. By using FirstHelm you agree to these terms. If you use FirstHelm on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.
3. Account registration and eligibility
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. The service
FirstHelm provides agent registration, real-time monitoring, constraint enforcement, approval gates, interventions, and audit-trail export — the control layer for autonomous AI.
5. Acceptable use
- You will not use agents to conduct unlawful activity.
- You will not attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent constraint enforcement.
- You will not scrape, overload, or misuse the Platform or API.
6. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the actions of the agents you connect and operate, and for ensuring those agents comply with applicable law and these terms.

Plans renew automatically until cancelled. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform and its intellectual property remain the property of FirstHelm Technologies Ltd. You retain all rights in your data, your agent code, and your configuration.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any agent will behave as intended — which is precisely why human oversight, constraints, and approvals exist. FirstHelm is a governance tool, not a guarantee of agent behaviour.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstHelm's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business.
11. Term and termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, you retain a 30-day window to export your data, after which it may be deleted.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these terms and will indicate changes with a revised "Last updated" date.
